It all started when…

LaShawn Vasser fell head over heels for romance at just twelve years old, when the magic of stories first captured her heart. What began as a love of reading blossomed into a passion for writing, and in 2013 she released her debut novella, Out of Nowhere. Since then, she has gone on to publish more than twenty contemporary romance novels and novellas that celebrate love in all its beautiful, complicated, and joyful forms.

Beyond her career as a storyteller, LaShawn is a devoted wife and proud mother of three. She finds inspiration in the everyday chaos of life—especially the lively family dinners she shares with her sisters. Filled with laughter, playful banter, and a little bit of “good crazy,” these gatherings often spark the juiciest new plot twists for her books.

For LaShawn, life is about savoring every moment. Her personal mantra says it all: good food, good wine, good friends, and family are the perfect recipe for happiness.
